BVA stifles late EF rally

Game by game, Belle Vernon Area’s baseball team is coming together.

Having graduated more than half of his starters, head coach Daryl Hixenbaugh knew it would be a process for his team to come together. They would have to grow into their new roles, grow as players and do so on the fly.

After some ups and downs, the Leopards appear to be rounding into to form. 

Belle Vernon Area’s latest step forward came on Wednesday, as the Leopards (4-3, 3-2) took down Elizabeth Forward (6-4, 3-3), 5-4, in an important Section 3-4A win at the John DiVirgilio Sports Complex.
