Julie Katheryn Seraly Nicholas – New Eagle

Julie Katheryn Seraly Nicholas, of New Eagle, passed away unexpectedly at Monongahela Valley Hospital at the age of 51 from injuries sustained as a result of an automobile accident on Monday, April 15, 2019. Born June 14, 1967, in Charleroi Monessen Hospital, she was the daughter of Judith Sliger Seraly, who survives and resides in New Eagle, and the late Mario Seraly, who passed away on Oct. 9, 1998.​ Julie graduated from Ringgold High School in 1985. She attended vocational technical school for nursing and later received her medical assistant degree certificate. After graduation, she worked at McMurray Hills Manor and did private home nursing, including caring for her grandmother. Julie formerly attended Riverview Baptist Church and its Sunday school in New Eagle.​ In addition to her mother, she leaves a brother, David Seraly of Scenery Hill; and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.​ Preceding her in death was her father, Mario Seraly, in 1998; a brother, Tony Seraly, in 2017; and her maternal and paternal grandparents. ​Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019, with the Rev. Bruce Moses officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. ​Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
