Ringgold, Burrell set to face off for D2 title

One question surrounds tonight’s PIHL Division 2 championship game: Will history repeat itself? 

Last season, the Ringgold hockey team swept the regular season series from Burrell before seeing it all come to an end at the hands of the Buccaneers in the Division 2 semifinals. 

During this year’s regular season, the tables turned as Burrell claimed both meetings between the teams. 

With round three looming tonight, redemption is on the mind of a hungry Ringgold team seeking its first Division 2 crown in nine years.
