Shorraw wants his city mail delivered to his residence

Monessen Mayor Matt Shorraw is once again at odds with council members over alleged inaccessibility to city hall.
Late last year, Councilman Anthony Orzechowski announced that city hall access codes and locks were changed to prevent unauthorized building entry after hours.
Shorraw, who has missed 26 consecutive council meetings, has since claimed the changes were an attempt to bar him from the premises.
As a result, Shorraw requested all mail sent to city hall in his name be delivered to his residence by his roommate and city employee Karla Spangler.
This week, Orzechowski, who was recently appointed acting mayor, denied Shorraw’s request via an official letter sent via email by city administrator/clerk Judith Taylor.
