Belle Vernon Area’s Scotty Joll and Logan Seliga advanced to the PIAA Southwest Regional / WPIAL Class 3A semifinals after escaping through the opening rounds unscathed Friday.

Joll needed only a total of 3:19 on the mat to win his two bouts of the day in the 182-pound bracket.

Joll dispatched Waynesburg’s Noah Tustin in the Round of 16 pinning him at the 1:24-mark of the period.

In the quarterfinals, Joll needed a few seconds more, pinning Bethel Park’s Riley O’Mara at the 1:55-mark of the first period.
