Miles A. Kelley – Rostraver Township

Miles A. Kelley, 80, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on Oct. 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Carlos and Olive Pell Kelley. Miles was the principal at Marion Elementary School until his retirement in 2000. An avid golfer, he participated in couples and men’s leagues at Cedarbrook Golf Course. He attended Olive Branch Baptist Church in Rostraver Township and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pattie M. Jones Kelley; daughter, Jill (Nazareth II) Victoria of Coal Center; son, Jack (Lynnette) Kelley of Whitehall; grandchildren, Nazareth Victoria III, Nina Victoria and Lila Kelley; and nephews, Jon and James Kelley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Benson P. Kelley. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. Interment will be held in Fells Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Olive Branch Baptist Church.
