Gilda Rocca Egidi – Monessen

Gilda Rocca Egidi, 90, of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, in the Mon Valley Care Center. She was born in Monongahela on Sept. 14, 1928, to the late Luigi and Lavinia Masi Rocca. Surviving are her children, Dona Martin of San Jose, Calif., Diana Egidi of Cheswick, Mark and wife Maria Egidi of Arizona and Janet Ribnicky of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Deanna, Amanda, Mark, Matthew, Alaina, Anissa and Christiana; two great-grandsons, Pneuma and Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand P. Egidi, on Sept. 20, 2018, and her brothers, Primeste, Ettore, Leontino and Remo Rocca.
