With the weather outside cold and wet, the Ringgold boys basketball team got their workout inside the confines of Henry J. Furrie Sports Complex at Gateway High School.
Instead of the usual Rams, slow and patient, Chris Peccon and Luke Wyvratt brought the rest of the guys for a run and dominated No. 8 Freeport, 76-47, in a WPIAL Class 4A first-round matchup.
The relentless Rams used a 13-2 run to start the second half on their way to outscoring Freeport, 26-8, in the third quarter to easily put some distance on the scoreboard.
