Carroll Township police posted a message to their new Facebook account asking for help in finding a wanted man, and the tips led officers to three other wanted people.

Philip R. Jumbelick III, 29, of Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, was picked up with the help of Monessen police late Tuesday afternoon on felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property. He is lodged in Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Carroll Township police Chief Paul Brand said the department started a Facebook page late last week and used a social media post Monday to seek information about Jumbelick’s whereabouts.

As the tips came in, Brand said, his officers visited some of the locations they were led to. In the process, three additional people wanted on warrants were arrested with the help of Rostraver Township and North Belle Vernon police.
