Warriors’ Brinson defies the odds

Elizabeth Forward assistant track coach Matt Stith chuckles when describing the 800-meter run as “a mental toughness event, an event that is not for everyone.”
But describing senior Alyssa Brinson, Stith’s first words were “She is mentally strong.”
Not only does Brinson run the 800, but she has filled in on relay situations to help score points for the Warriors.
