Even though Ringgold fell at home to Uniontown at home Tuesday night, coach Phil Pergola wasn’t disappointed with the way his team played.
“I had no problem at all with our performance,” he said after the 72-57 defeat. “We just have to keep working. We have two more section games left and we have to win those two games.”
The Rams (12-5, 5-3) had a shocking start against the Red Raiders, scoring the game’s first seven points. Five of those came from Chris Peccon as Uniontown (13-3, 8-0) missed its first seven shots.
However, Ringgold went cold midway through the first quarter and the game turned around.
