Fire tears through West Mifflin home

Firefighters battled large flames at a two-story home in West Mifflin on Wednesday. Heavy smoke and flames tore through the house on Shara Drive, not far from Lebanon Road. The fire chief said one firefighter was taken on a gurney by paramedics, and was conscious and alert. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Pleasant Hills VFC
