Route 906 between Belle Vernon and Fayette City will remain blocked to through traffic for the foreseeable future.

A portion of the road has been shut down for more than 10 months.

It was closed completely May 15 following a rockslide, creating a burden for more than a dozen residents who use the road to access their homes.

In the months since the slide, rocks have continued to fall, creating dangerous conditions for drivers who ignore the road closure.
