Ronald V. Thoma – Washington, Pa.

Ronald V. Thoma, 62, of Washington, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, in his home. Born Oct. 24, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Ronald Sr. and Dona M. Bair Thoma. Ron had been working as a driver at Advanced Auto in Washington, he enjoyed NASCAR racing, and over the years, taking part in a few demolition derbies. Surviving are two sons, Joseph M. Thoma and James M. Thoma; a daughter, Nicole L. Thoma; a brother, Robert and wife Marilyn Thoma of Saskatoon, Canada; two sisters, Deborah and husband Dan Helbig of New Eagle and Christina Thoma of Pittsburgh; and a grandson, Logan Z. Thoma. At the family’s request services will be private. The MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of arrangements.
