Trojans come back to drop Greyhounds

California overcame a three-point halftime deficit to top Monessen, 43-34, in Section 2-A play Monday night.
The Trojans (6-4, 4-1) trailed 22-19 at halftime before outscoring the Greyhounds, 23-12, in the second half.
Makayla Boda led the way with a team-high 14 points for California while Sydney Smichnick chipped in with 10.
Qitarah Hardison poured in 14 points for Monessen (1-9, 1-3).
