There’s no hiding how we feel here at the Mon Valley Independent about our local sports.
Looking back on the past year, it reiterates our belief that the heartbeat of our Mon Valley communities is the participation and success of their high school sports teams.

It was a golden year around the Valley and a banner season for teams and athletes.
For all the highest achievements we’ve witnessed and all the individual accomplishments we’ve had the honor and privilege to share, there was one story to top them all: The story of the 2018 Ringgold baseball team.
