Spirnak hits 1,000 in Warriors’ win

Elizabeth Forward’s Bri Spirnak entered Tuesday night’s Section 3-4A opener with McKeesport just 20 points shy of 1,000 in her illustrious high school career.

While she was held to six points in the first half, Spirnak caught fire in the second to finish with over 1,000 career points in a 55-42 victory at Neenie Campbell Gymnasium.
