Glassport sewage rates to rise

Glassport residents will see a $4 increase in their sewage bills next year.

“We can’t continue to operate the sewage plant at $21 a month,” said council president Elaina Skiba. “I know people are going to be disgruntled about the $4 a month increase, but keep it in mind, we have no choice.”
