Freeport controls Shoaf in 20-0 win

Freeport players yelled with delight Friday in the postgame huddle when they heard they had held Yough’s Dustin Shoaf, the WPIAL’s leading rusher, to less than 100 yards rushing.
It was an accomplishment a defense hasn’t claimed all season and one worthy of celebration considering Shoaf is the defending WPIAL rushing champion and has gone over the century mark 19 times in his career.
