Donora library details plans for expansion

The board of directors for the Donora Public Library had two goals for Tuesday’s open house: to re-introduce residents to all the library has to offer and to encourage locals to donate money toward a planned expansion of the library.

The library is contained to 9,000 square feet of space at its 510 Meldon Ave. location. The planned two-story expansion, which is projected to cost $1.4 million, would double the library’s space, according to the board.
