Vulcans dominate in win over Raiders

The California University football team built a 34-point lead at halftime and never looked back, claiming a 57-14 victory over Shippensburg for its first win of the season Saturday afternoon.
Cal U (1-2) scored three times in the opening quarter as freshman quarterback Noah Mitchell threw for his only two touchdown passes of the contest. He connected with Jordan Dandridge for a 16-yard score and found Tyson Hill for a 71-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the opening frame.
