Editorial: Prisons get tough on smuggling
CONTRABAND HAS ALWAYS been a problem in prisons, but with the substances getting more dangerous, Pennsylvania is responding with tougher policies.
State prisons were put on lockdown last week after a string of sickness involving prison workers. Since Aug. 3, about 50 employees have come down with illnesses at 10 prisons throughout the state.
