Elizabeth may close Plum Street next summer

Elizabeth Borough council is considering shutting down Plum Street for the entirety of next summer to accommodate events hosted by the Elizabeth Area Development Corp.

Will Prince spoke during Tuesday’s council meeting in representation of the EADC, requesting that the board close the street next year from June 1 through Aug. 31.
