Fun walk provides help for hospital

For the seventh year in a row, The Kane Foundation, McKeesport Kane Family Council and Allegheny County will honor a McKeesport woman who died unexpectedly five years ago, but dedicated her life to helping the sick, disabled and elderly.

The seventh annual Joan Burns Kane Foundation “Fun Walk 4 Kane” will kick off at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at Kane McKeesport, the former Kane Hospital, located at 100 Ninth St. A picnic for participants will immediately follow.
