Removal not easy for Pa. officials under fire

Despite some Monessen residents voicing concerns to state legislators, the removal of two city officials is unlikely.

State Sen. Pat Stefano, R-Bullskin Township, said Friday that Pennsylvania legislation “misses the mark” when it comes to potential action against Monessen Mayor Matt Shorraw and Councilman Gil Coles.
