International Village venue for old, new friends to meet

McKeesport celebrated the final night of its 59th annual three-day ethnic food and entertainment festival Thursday night, and just like every other year at International Village, it served as a venue for family and friends to reunite, catch up with one another and reflect on past Village celebrations.

While wandering the grounds at Renzie Park it is not uncommon to find groups of old friends having makeshift class reunions and laughing about the days when McKeesport was their teenage “stomping grounds,” according to Kathy Caparelli.
