• Matthew Von Kerik, 35, of Coal Center was charged with simple assault, harassment - subjecting another to physical contact and disorderly conduct - engaging in fighting stemming from an alleged incident on Saturday, court records state. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joshua Kanalis is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 7.
