Carol Jean Hayden Mays, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 29, 2026. Born on Nov. 28, 1944, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Henry “Mac” Hayden and Irene Hayden of Union, South Carolina. She was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a faithful member of Mt.
