A year after deadly Clairton Coke Works explosion, pain still lingers

TODAY, FLAGS WILL BE LOWERED to half-staff across the U.S. Steel Mon Valley Works’ three local plants, and employees will pause for a moment of silence to mark one year since an explosion at the Clairton Coke Plant took the life of two steelworkers and injured 10 more.
