UNC welcomes back kicker tied to 5-year eligibility rule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Kicker Rece Verhoff has returned to North Carolina for a fifth year after a federal court granted high school class of 2022 athletes an additional season of eligibility in a ruling tied to the NCAA’s new eligibility model.
