Roscoe Lions award memorial scholarship

The Roscoe Lions recently presented the Tori Demo Memorial Scholarship to 2026 California Area High School graduate Sydney Dunn. The annual $1,000 club scholarship is in memory of Demo, 25, of Allenport, who was the youngest member of the Roscoe Lions when she was tragically killed in a vehicle crash March 16, 2024. Shown during the scholarship dinner, from left, are Lion Jamie Giffin (Tori’s mom), Lion Richard Webb, and Sydney’s parents, Gary and Melissa Dunn of Coal Center.
