The dog days of summer are here, but there’s no shortage of fun in the forecast. The Fayette County Fair wraps up today, but it’s followed by the Washington and Westmoreland county fairs. There are plenty of activities around the Valley to enjoy this weekend. Head to Monongahela today to experience the creativity, charm and community spirit of the city’s historic downtown during the Shop Through the Arts street event set for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
