A 20-year love story with Le Vian comes to the red carpet at MarBill Jewelers

Join MarBill Jewelers on Thursday and walk the red carpet as they celebrate a remarkable journey — one that began with a story, grew into a friendship and continues to sparkle 20 years later.

For the MVI

Some stories begin with a business meeting. Others begin with a chance encounter.

For Linda Horrell, co-owner of MarBill Jewelers in Belle Vernon, it all started with a story.

Twenty years ago, while researching natural gemstones and fine jewelry, she came across a heartfelt post written by Eddie Le Vian about his father and the remarkable history of the Le Vian family. Their legacy spans more than 500 years, dating back to 15th-century Persia, where the Le Vian family served as the trusted “Guardians of the Jewels” for royalty, including the legendary ruler Nadir Shah. After generations devoted to exceptional gemstones and craftsmanship, the family eventually brought their passion to the United States in 1950, continuing a tradition that has become one of the most recognized names in fine jewelry.

Moved by the family’s incredible history, Linda left a comment expressing how beautiful and inspiring she found their story.

To her surprise, Eddie Le Vian personally reached out, inviting her to experience the collection firsthand at a jewelry show in Scottsdale, Arizona.

She accepted the invitation. The moment Linda saw the collection in person, she knew there was something truly special about Le Vian. The artistry, rich natural gemstones, signature chocolate diamonds and unmistakable attention to detail were unlike anything she had seen before.

She returned home determined to bring the collection to Belle Vernon.

That decision, made in 2006, has blossomed into a wonderful 20-year partnership built on trust, friendship, and a shared passion for creating meaningful moments for generations of families throughout the Mon Valley.

Today, MarBill Jewelers is proud to be one of the area’s premier Le Vian retailers, hosting exclusive Le Vian trunk shows each year that give customers access to extraordinary jewelry collections rarely seen in stores.

Now it’s time to celebrate. On Thursday, July 23, MarBill Jewelers invites the community to join them for a spectacular 20th Anniversary Red Carpet Celebration, taking place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The one-day-only event will feature one of the largest Le Vian collections ever displayed in the store, including breathtaking designs showcasing American-mined Montana sapphires in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Guests will also discover exclusive pieces available only during this special event, making it the perfect opportunity to find something truly one of a kind.

To add to the festivities, everyone is encouraged to wear red, white and blue as Mar-Bill celebrates two incredible milestones: America’s 250th birthday and 20 unforgettable years with Le Vian.

Whether you’re a longtime Le Vian collector, searching for the perfect anniversary gift or simply love the beauty of natural gemstones, this celebration promises an unforgettable experience.

For Linda and the MarBill family, the event is about much more than beautiful jewelry.

It’s a celebration of relationships, craftsmanship, family tradition, and the wonderful customers who have made the last 20 years possible.

Join MarBill Jewelers on Thursday and walk the red carpet as they celebrate a remarkable journey — one that began with a story, grew into a friendship and continues to sparkle 20 years later.
