Students from the Belle Vernon Area and Frazier school districts were honored, along with their parents, during the program. All of the students shared their essays submitted with their applications and outlined their scholastic goals and plans for the future.

Spencer Anderson was awarded $5,000 as the first place winner from BVA and Paloma Warner received $5,000 as the first place winner from Frazier.

Gabriella Dusi earned $3,000 as the second place winner from BVA and Madelyn Salisbury received a $3,000 award for Frazier.

Jenna Pellick from Frazier received $2,500 for a twoyear program with Richard Triggani from BVA earning the $2,500, also for a 2-year program.

The six students were selected from more than 20 applications received. The scholarship committee was acknowledged by President Debby Puglia for completing the difficult task of choosing only six recipients among so many deserving students. The committee members are Chris Giannamore, Tom Yoder, John Habel and Joanna Kazmierczak.
