Storm knocks out power in Rostraver

The Rostraver Township Fire Department responded to weather-related incidents after strong rainstorms hit the area Monday. During a power outage, employees of Pet Supplies Plus and Long John Silver’s reported smoke in their businesses. The smoke was traced to malfunctioning rooftop HVAC units. Also assisting were firefighters from Collinsburg, Sutersville, North Belle Vernon, Belle Vernon and Washington Township.
