Ruth Estelle Horner – Coal Center

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Estelle Horner, 81, of Coal Center, Pa. She passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Davis Zelnis. Ruth was a lifelong resident of California and Coal Center, Pa. Many in the community remember her as the meter attendant for California Borough, eventually retiring from Washington County Housing Authority.
