• Robert J. Floyd Jr., 58, of Monessen was charged with strangulation, DUI, simple assault and harassment stemming from an alleged domestic incident Thursday, court records state. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Wayne Vlasic is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 26, and Floyd is being held in Westmoreland County Prison unable to post a $10,000 bail.
