David W. Demeter Sr. – Carroll Township

David W. Demeter Sr., 97, of Carroll Township, passed away on June 9, 2026. He was the son of the late Joseph and Julia Hollis Deme ter. He was born April 9, 1929, in Monongahela and lived most of his life in Carroll Township. David served as a private first class in the Army during World War II. As a result of rebuilding car engines with his older brothers, he was assigned as a water supply tech and never saw combat.
