Power line sparks brush fire in Elizabeth Township

A small brush fire occurred due to a downed power line Tuesday evening on Mill Hill Road in Elizabeth Township. The road was closed for a while between Scenery Drive and Lovedale Road. The blaze contained itself and units were monitoring the situation until West Penn Power secured the power for the fire to be safely extinguished. Elizabeth Township Fire Department photo
