Helen M. Lees – Charleroi

Helen M. Lees, 75, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on Dec. 23, 1950, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Martha (Boyce) and Joseph Byrne Sr. Helen was a courageous woman whose strength inspired all who knew her. She was an 18-year breast cancer survivor who continued to fight valiantly against pulmonary fibrosis and spinal stenosis, and also faced the uncertainty of a brain aneurysm.
