Strawberry Fest at Mt. Vernon Church

The annual Strawberry Festival at Mt. Vernon Church, 2200 Greenock Buena Vista Rd., Elizabeth Township, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. June 6. Featuring delicious dishes made with fresh strawberries grown at Triple B Farms in Forward Township, some of the menu items include pulled-beef sandwiches, mac and cheese, halushki, strawberry pretzel salads and more. The popular strawberry ice cream dessert will also be featured. Parish deacons will have a basket raffle from local vendors.
