Edgar R. Smart – Sutersville

Edgar R. Smart, 85, of Sutersville, died on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Grandview Estates. Born in Eliza beth on July 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Gephart) Smart. Edgar was an officer of the Pennsylvania State Police. He also worked as a die maker for General Motors. He was an avid softball player and loved spending time outdoors, hiking, bicycling and canoeing, as well as riding quads and side by sides. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy.
