A daughter of the late Edmund P. and Margaret Metcalf Benedetti, she was born on May 9, 1945, in North Charleroi. A lifelong resident of Allenport, Marnie was a Charleroi High School graduate, Class of 1963, and a graduate of Sewickley Valley Nursing School.
