2026 Dr. Charles E. Stacey Scholarship Awarded

The Donora Public Library Board of Directors announced that Ringgold High School senior Andrew Bruce Jr. is the winner of the 2026 Dr. Charles E. Stacey Scholarship for Commuting Students. The award carries a $500 prize to go toward gas, and other college expenses. A Donora resident, Andrew will be commuting to Rosedale Technical School of Pittsburgh’s Carpentry Program starting Aug. 3. Andrew is an Eagle Scout, participates in cross-country and is an amateur woodworker. The scholarship memorializes Dr. Stacey, a former board member, school principal and historian.
