Timothy D. Laciak

NORTH BELLE VERNON Timothy D. Laciak, 64, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley in Carroll To w n ship. Born Aug. 31, 1961, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Samuel and Anna Marie Rozinski Laciak. A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 35 years, Mr. Laciak was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon, where he served as church council president. He worked as a restaurant manager for 45 years, presently at Eat’n Park in Uniontown, was a valued member of the Old Timers Golf League at Butlers Golf Course and an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Known for his lively spirit, he was often the life of family gatherings, bringing humor and joy to those around him. Mr. Laciak was affectionately known as “Tim ‘The Toolman’” for his skills in home maintenance. His personal interests included coin collecting, gardening and decorating for the holidays, and he was an excellent cook. He is survived by his wife, Karen Gerber Laciak, to whom he was married for 37 years; daughter and sonin- law, Kiersten and Clayton Laciak-Harkins of Mt. Pleasant; four pet dogs, Hemi, Amber, Tank and Carla; brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Roberta Laciak of Greensburg; two brothersin- law and sister-in-law, Rudolph and Regina Gerber of Smock, and Michael Gerber of State College; a granddaughter on the way, Louise; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. All family and friends are to gather directly at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church at 10 a.m. Monday for funeral services with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
