Robber used note on elementary school worksheet to demand money from bank

A third grader’s homework assignment helped Allegheny County detectives identify and arrest a man accused of robbing a Versailles Borough credit union last Friday.

County police were called to the Century Heritage Federal Credit Union in the 4300 block of Walnut Street for a reported bank robbery in the Olympia Shopping Center at 1:31 p.m. May 8.
