BVA Rotary honors students of the month

The Belle Vernon Area Rotary met April 23 at the Cedarbrook Clubhouse Grill in Rostraver Township to honor January through May students of the month and their parents. The students are from the Belle Vernon Area and Frazier school districts. All of the students introduced their parents, described their many activities and achievements and shared their plans for the future. They all received plaques and monetary gifts. Shown, from left, are Frazer High School students of the month Madelyn Salisbury, Brooke Krall and Madeline Kordich; Belle Vernon Area High School students of the month Brook Lesko, and Peyton Chalus; and Frazier student of the month Anna Vitale. Earning honors but unable to attend were BVA students Caleb Horner, Mitchell Daley and Sarah Shenouda and Frazier student Mikayla Lester.
