Bunny Hop 5K supports Washington Township police, food bank

The inaugural Washington Township Bunny Hop 5K run/walk was held April 4 at the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club. Organized by Kristen Jordan, her goal was creating an annual community event that can also help with needs throughout the township from any profits raised. Jordan recently presented $1,000 to the Washington Township Police department and $1,000 for the Washington Township/Fayette City food bank. Shown in the group photo are food bank volunteers, from left, Fran Roberts, Jordan, Diane Roberts, Vann Walchok, Casey Walchok, Joe Palli, Joe Walki, George Molesky, Larry Rusnak, John Zadrozny and Jim Booley. In the other photo, Jordan is shown giving the donation to Washington Township police Officer Tim Lemley. Submitted
