Karen L. Greenwood

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Karen L. Greenwood, 85, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Born in Charleroi on April 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Yvonne Griffith Hoffman. Karen was a registered nurse and had worked for Albert Gallatin Hospice; she enjoyed meeting with her retired co-workers for lunch. She loved to sew and play cards. She was a good cook and always made great holiday dinners. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Scott Greenwood of Rostraver; grandson, Dustin Greenwood (Ashley Fiorino); granddaughter, Lacey Greenwood; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Merritt, Lyra Greenwood and Ezra Greenwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by loving husband, Benjamin Greenwood, whom she married in 1961; her sons, Larry Greenwood and Lonnie Greenwood; and brother, Thomas Hoffman.
