Penn Highlands Mon Valley Auxiliary donation helps purchase rehabilitation equipment

A new device that will aid in providing Penn Highlands Mon Valley patients with the gold standard of rehabilitation care and improve patient safety was recently purchased thanks to a donation by the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Auxiliary On April 6, Janet Rippel, treasurer of the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Auxiliary, presented a $14,490 check to Ruth Sepesky, director of Rehabilitation Services at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, for the purchase of the Lite Gait 360PG, a gait trainer that will be used for rehabilitation patients who experience difficulty walking following strokes or fractures.
